Chat Permission

You can share your chat channels with various groups: all project members, project admins, selected members, or an external team.

Share chat channel with project members

When creating the chat channel, choose Any members under the Share with option. This will make the newly created chat channel visible to all project members, excluding the external team.

Share chat channel with project admins only

When creating the chat channel, choose Admins only under the Share with option. This will make the newly created chat channel visible only to project admins.

Share chat channel with select members

When creating the chat channel, choose Selected members under the Share with option. This will make the newly created chat channel visible only to the members you have selected.

Share chat channel with an external team

When creating the chat channel, select one of the external teams under the Share with option. This will allow only the external team members to see the chat channel shared with them, while other channels remain hidden.
